Waiting for Jeremiah Wright to Apologize to Us
Jeremiah Wright owes us an apology. This is not because black people have not be the victim of enslavement, legal discrimination and bigotry – most people in history have been the victim of those vices. Wright owes us an apology because the party he supports is the party of the Ku Klux Klan, the party of slavery, the party of Jim Crow and the party of all racial bigotries, black and white.

A League of Conservative Democratic Leaders
The landslide election of Silvia Berlusconi is good news for America and good news for everyone who wants the principles of conservative government to spread around the world. Like Sarkozy in France (another pro-American), Berlusconi is a bigger than life figure. But like Sarkozy, he is not intimidated by the cant of the Left. The size of his victory - a landslide very atypical of Italian politics - Berlusconi will have the power to actually change some things. Like what?

They Need Inferiors
The apparent madness of Leftists opposing any drilling for oil in Anwar, where the environmental impact is practically nil and which would immediately begin to ratchet down the price of oil, and Leftists simultaneously railing against big oil companies for high oil prices is only apparently mad. The Left wants the price of oil high. The Left wants the price of all necessities like food and medicine high. The fact that this causes general misery and that this causes particular misery among the lower middle class does not prevent the Left from taking this perverse position. That fact is the actual reason why the Left wants prices high or wages low or opportunity blocked or hatreds simmering.

Why Don't We All Become Democrats
Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos” raises an interesting question. The Left has occupied the Democrat Party, which has purchased the souls of large groups of Americans - blacks, Hispanics, feminists - and yet the word “liberal” is passionately rejected by all Democrats. The political parties have been democratized completely: no one can keep anyone from participating completely in the Republican or Democrat parties.

Self inflicted wounds
Howard Dean, the genius who believed that we needed to negotiate with the Soviet Union to deal with Iran (whoops! The Soviet Union has been gone seventeen years) and who would not, as president, order states to implement Right to Work (has stupidity at this level ever graced the Republc?) has done a bang up job - just a bang up job - of planning everything for his favorite incarnation of Marxism.
